Asmani Kitabon Mein Naat e Mustafa

Book Name:Asmani Kitabon Mein Naat e Mustafa

It is mentioned under this verse in Tafsīr Nūr al-ꜤIrfān:

Banī Isrāˈīl were envious of the fact that the beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم was granted the honour of being the final Prophet. They felt as though an Israelite should have been granted this honour instead, which is why they never brought faith in him. Thus, we come to know that envy sometimes prevents a person from accepting faith.[1]

The ailing one accepted faith

It is mentioned in Musnad Imām Aḥmad:

Once, the Beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم passed by a non-Muslim whose son was sick. He was sitting by his son’s head and reciting the Torah. The beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said to him, “By the True Lord who revealed the Torah to Musa عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلاَم! Is my praise and description mentioned in the Torah?”

The man denied this, but his sick son replied at once, “I testify that the Torah contains mention of your praise, your description and the era in which you will arrive.” Then the boy recited the testimony of faith and became a Muslim.[2]

Reject envy!

اللہُ اکبر! Dear Islamic brothers! We come to know that those among the people of the Book who rejected faith did so simply out of envy, as those with pure hearts would recite the testimony of faith as soon as they laid eyes on the beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم. One can understand the destructive nature of envy through this.

Mufti Aḥmad Yār Khan NaꜤīmī رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه lists the following points we can take from the above-mentioned verse:
