صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد
Sayyiduna Zubayr bin Awwām رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ was a very honest individual. Due to his honesty and integrity, the third Caliph of Islam, Sayyiduna ꜤUthman b. ꜤAffan, Miqdād, Abd al-Raḥmān bin ꜤAuf, Abdullah bin MasꜤūd and seven other illustrious companions عَـلَيْهِمُ الرِّضْوَانْ made him the administrator of their wealth after themselves. Thus, Sayyiduna Zubayr bin Awwām رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ would administer their wealth with utmost honesty, and spend on their families from his own income.[2]
