Give up lying to be safe in the grave

First sin: Lying

The Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم stated, “Lying leads to sin, and sin is a cause of entering Hell. Indeed, a person continues to speak lies until he is recorded as a major liar in the court of Allah Almighty.”[1]

Abandon treachery for safety in the grave

Second sin: Treachery, i.e. the unlawful disposal or non-return of someone’s entrusted property. Sayyidunā Mujāhid رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه states, “Deception and treachery are in the fire; they are not from the character of a Muslim.”

Renounce tale-telling for safety in the grave

Third sin: Tale-telling

Tale-telling is to convey someone’s words to another person to create discord.[2] The Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said, “Allah Almighty will resurrect tale-tellers in the form of dogs.”[3]

Keep pure to attain safety in the grave

Fourth sin: Not avoiding urine droplets.

The beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said, “Most of the punishment of the
