4.  After the Bayan, I will approach people to say Salaam, shake hands and to make individual efforts upon them.

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                 صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

Dear Islamic brothers, today is the Night of Salvation. It is a night of goodness, blessings, and greatness; the rain of mercy is descending profusely. On this night, Allah Almighty sends down countless blessings on His people. It is a night of forgiveness and acceptance of duꜤāˈs. It is also the night in which provision is apportioned.

Hundreds of thousands of sinners are forgiven

The Mother of the believers Sayyidatunā ꜤĀˈishah رَضِیَ اللهُ عَنْهَا said:

One night, I did not find the Messenger of Allah صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم, so I went out and found that he was in al-Baqi.

He صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said, “Without doubt, on the 15th night of Shaban, Allah Almighty reveals His special manifestation on the nearest sky and forgives more people than the number of hairs on the goats of the tribe of Banī Kalb.”[1]

Banū Kalb was a tribe amongst the Arabs. It is written in books that these people reared a vast number of goats.[2]

سُبْحٰنَ اللہ Who can count how many hairs just one goat has? This teaches us that millions of people are forgiven on this night.

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                                     صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد
