Book Name:Hajj e Wida Ke Iman Afroz Waqiaat

Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم, the other Prophets عَـلَـيْـهِمُ الـصَّلٰوةُ وَالـسَّـلَام attended to gain blessings. The Holy Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم saw them with his own eyes during this.”[1]

اَلْـحَمْـدُ لـِلّٰـه We come to know from this that the Prophets عَـلَـيْـهِمُ الـصَّلٰوةُ وَالـسَّـلَام are alive in their resting places, and they travel to wherever they want. We also come to know Allah Almighty has granted knowledge of the unseen to the Prophets عَـلَـيْـهِمُ الـصَّلٰوةُ وَالـسَّـلَام.

They remain within their respective blessed graves in the realm of Barzakh, and are given news of what is happening in the world at that time.

Remember, when the Greatest and Final Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم went on the journey of MiꜤrāj, the Prophets عَـلَـيْـهِمُ الـصَّلٰوةُ وَالـسَّـلَام had already arrived at Masjid al-Aqsā to offer salah behind him. During the Farewell Pilgrimage, they received news this was the final ḥajj of the Prophet’s صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم visible lifetime, so they also came to receive the honour of performing ḥajj with him.

The Prophets عَـلَـيْهِمُ السَّلَام are alive

A hadith in Sunan Ibn Mājah tells of how the Companions عَلَیْہِمُ الرِّضْوَان asked, “O Messenger of Allah! How will the ṣalāt we recite upon reach you after you pass away?”

He صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم explained: اِنَّ اللہَ حَرَّمَ عَلَی الْاَرْضِ اَنْ تَاْکُلَ اَجْسَادَ الْاَنْبِیَاءِ - “Indeed, Allah has made it forbidden upon the earth to consume the bodies of the Prophets.”[2]
