or down a hill, recite سُـبْحٰـنَ الـلّٰــه.

*    When you arrive, recite اَعُوْذُ بِکَلِمَاتِ اللّٰہِ التَّامَّاتِ مِنْ  شَرِّمَا خَلَق – “I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of creation.” اِنْ شَــآءَالـلّٰـه You will remain protected from every harm.^[1]

*    There should be no laziness in offering salah during the journey.

*    If the bus breaks down, instead of cursing the driver or owner of the bus and ruining your Hereafter, have patience and seek Paradise by busying yourself in dhikr and reciting ṣalāt upon the Holy Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم.

*    When it is busy on public transport and you see a weak or sick person, with the intention of reward, offer your seat to them.

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                                                                                                                                صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

Dua when drinking Zamzam water

According to the schedule of Dawat-e-Islami’s weekly sunnah-inspired gathering, we will now memorise a dua. This week, we will learn the dua to be recited after drinking Zamzam water.

اَللّٰہمَّ اِنِّی اَسْأَلُکَ عِلْمًا نَّافِعًا وَ رِزْقًا وَّاسِعًا وَّ شِفَاءً مِّنْ کُلِّ دَاءٍ^[2]

O Allah! I ask You for beneficial knowledge, expansive sustenance, and cure from every illness.^[3]

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                                     صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد
