On the 4th of Dhū al-Ḥijjah, they reached a valley near Makkah known as Dhī Ṭuwā, where they stayed for the night. They offered fajr salah there the next morning and the Holy Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم performed ghusl again out of honour for Makkah al-Mukarramah. They then entered Makkah from the direction of Thaniyyat al-ꜤUlyā, otherwise known as the Ḥajūn graveyard.
