The Companion ꜤUrwah رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ narrates from his father, that Lady ꜤĀisha al-Ṣiddīqah رَضِیَ الـلّٰـهُ عَنْهَا explained:

Indeed, through the dua of the Greatest and Final Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم, Allah Almighty granted life to ꜤAbdullah and Āminah رَضِیَ الـلّٰـهُ عَنْهُمَا. Both of them accepted faith and returned to their graves.[1]

Is it possible to give life to the dead?

سُـبْحٰـنَ الـلّٰــه Dear Islamic brothers! There is no doubt ꜤAbdullah and Āminah رَضِیَ الـلّٰـهُ عَنْهُمَا are the most fortunate parents in the entire world, as they have the honour of being the parents of the Greatest and Final Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم.

It is possible a thought could enter someone’s heart as to how a person who has left this world can be brought back to life and then made to recite the kalimah. Remember! It is not impossible for a person to be brought back to life in this world after their death; it is completely possible and has happened many times. There are many examples of this in the noble Quran.

The very event after which the second and longest surah in the noble Quran (Sūrat al-Baqarah) is named, contains mention people being brought back to life after death.

A person from the Banī Isrāʾīl was killed and his killer could not be found. News of this reached Prophet Mūsā عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلاَم, upon which the Banī Isrāʾīl were instructed to sacrifice a cow. After they sacrificed a very specific cow, a piece of it was placed on the dead body. By doing this, the dead person came to life and even told the name of his killer.

There is a similar event explained in the noble Quran which shows how thousands of the Banī Isrāʾīl were granted life after death. In fact, it is a
