Book Name:Naam e Muhammad Ki Barkat

Whenever some hardship or difficulty would befall her, she would place both her hands on face, close her eyes and say, “Muhammad صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم.” Through the name Muhammad, she would be alleviated of her worries. When that woman passed away, a relative saw her in a dream and asked, “Did you see the two questioning angels Munkar and Nakīr in the grave?”

She replied, “Yes, they came to me. When I saw them, in accordance to my habit, I placed my hands on my face and said, ‘Muhammad صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم.’ When I removed my hands from my face, both had gone.”[1]

Encouragement to adopt good habits

Dear Islamic brothers! Just as this inspiring story mentions the blessings of the Prophet’s name, we also learn that we should adopt good habits in the world. اِنْ شَــآءَالـلّٰـه These good habits will become a means of salvation in the grave and on the Day of Judgement. For example, in accordance with the Sunna. We should give and take things with our right hand. اِنْ شَــآءَالـلّٰـه On the Day of Judgement when we are given our book of deeds, we will extend our right hands to take hold of it, and whoever takes their book of deeds in their right hand will enter Paradise.

When facing a difficulty in this world, instead of saying unbefitting things, we should get into the habit of saying good words. For example, reciting اِنَّا لِلّٰہِ وَ اِنَّا اِلَیْہِ رَاجِعُوْن, حَسْبِیَ اللہ (Allah is enough for me), or یَارَسُوْلَ اللہ مدد.

If we make a habit of saying good words like this, when we face unease in the grave and on the Day of Judgement, اِنْ شَــآءَالـلّٰـه  these words will come
