etc.) know him as ꜤAbd al-Muˈmin. Birds call him ꜤAbd al-Ghaffār.

Allah refers to him an Tāhā, and his most famous name among the believers is Muhammad صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم. His teknonym is Abu al-Qāsim, as he is the one who distributes Paradise.[1]

The name Muhammad in the Quran

Dear Islamic brothers! There is an entire surah in the Quran known as Surah Muhammad, which can be found in the 26th part. Besides this, the name Muhammad appears 4 times in the Holy Quran.

(1) In verse 144 of Surah Āl ꜤImrān

(2) In verse 40 of Surah al-Aḥzāb

(3) In verse 2 of Surah Muhammad

(4) In verse 29 of Surah al-Fatḥ.

To gain immense blessings, let us listen to one of these verses.

Allah states:

مَا کَانَ مُحَمَّدٌ اَبَاۤ  اَحَدٍ مِّنْ رِّجَالِکُمْ وَ لٰکِنْ رَّسُوْلَ اللّٰہِ وَ خَاتَمَ  النَّبِیّٖنَ ؕ وَ  کَانَ اللّٰہُ  بِکُلِّ شَیْءٍ عَلِیْمًا (۴۰)

Muhammad is not the father of any of your men. However, he is the Messenger of Allah and the last of the Prophets—And Allah knows everything.[2]

When was he named?

When the final Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم was born, his grandfather ꜤAbd al-
