times, about friends, neighbours, or work colleagues. They indulge in slandering and accusing others falsely, whilst those who listen to such sinful conversations with delight become equal partners in these sins.
They think to themselves, “Wow! How smart is he? He knows everybody inside out.”
Whether or not such a person knows the details of others, one thing is certain: they are utterly ignorant of Satan’s deceptions. If they truly understood the destructive traps of the carnal-self and Satan, they would never ignite the flames of backbiting, slander, and false accusations.
The truly intelligent and clever individual is he who overcomes their carnal-self and Satan, and steers well clear of sins. That is true wisdom and intelligence.
صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد
Dear Islamic brothers! Imām Abū Ḥanīfa رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه was also known for his immense generosity.
* He gave in charity the same amount he spent on family.
* Whenever he bought new clothes for himself, he would also purchase clothes of the same value for scholars.
* Whenever food was served before him, he would share an equivalent amount of food with a poor person.[1]
