towards the end. In this way, he would be in a state of fasting during the start, middle, and end of the month.[1]

*    Using a siwāk whilst fasting is a Sunna of the Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم.

However, care must be taken to avoid chewing it in a way that fibres loosen and may be swallowed, or the siwāk’s taste enters the throat.

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                                     صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

The six alawāt and two duāˈs recited in the sunnah-inspired weekly gatherings of Dawat-e-Islami

1. The alāt for the night preceding Friday

اَللّٰھُمَّ صَلِّ  وَ سَلِّمْ  وَبَارِكْ  عَلٰی  سَیِّدِنَا   مُحَمَّدٍ  النَّبِیِّ  الْاُمِّیِّ 

الْحَبِیْبِ الْعَالِی  الْقَدْرِ الْعَظِیْمِ الْجَاہِ   وَ عَلٰی   اٰلِہٖ  وَ صَحْبِہٖ  وَ سَلِّمْ

The saints of Islam have quoted, that whoever recites this ṣalāt at
