Imam e Azam Ki Mubarak Aadatein

Book Name:Imam e Azam Ki Mubarak Aadatein

A hadith explains:

شَہْرُ رَمَضَانَ شَہْرُ اللہِ وَ شَہْرُ شَعْبَانَ شَہْرِی

Ramadan is the month of Allah and ShaꜤbān is my month.[1]

Since this is the Prophet’s month, one should particularly increase their recitation of ṣalāt upon him.

The Crown of the Saints, Shaykh ꜤAbd al-Qādir al-Jīlānī رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه said:

هو شَہْرُ الصَّلَاۃِ عَلَی النَّبِیِّ

It is the month of sending ṣalāt upon the Prophet.[2]

A hadith mentions, “Whoever recites ṣalāt once has ten mercies descend upon them, raises by ten ranks, and has ten good deeds written for them, whilst ten of their sins are erased.”[3]

2. Recitation of the Quran

Another key act of worship in ShaꜤbān is recitation of the Quran. Some narrations even refer to ShaꜤbān as Shahr al-Quran (the month of Quran recitation).

One narration explains:

ShaꜤbān asked Allah, “O Lord! You have placed me between two exalted months (Rajab and Ramadan). What is in store for me?” Allah announced, “I have placed recitation of the Quran within you.”[4]
