will be blazing, its heat unbearable, and its depth enormous. The jewellery of Hell are iron maces and clubs, and its water is pus. In it, there is no share of Allah’s mercy.

Those gathered listening to this speech began to cry, whilst Sayyiduna ꜤAlī continued:

After the grave, there is a day (about which Allah states):

وَ سَارِعُوْۤا اِلٰی مَغْفِرَۃٍ  مِّنْ رَّبِّکُمْ وَ جَنَّۃٍ عَرْضُہَا السَّمٰوٰتُ وَ الْاَرْضُ ۙ اُعِدَّتْ  لِلْمُتَّقِیْنَ (۱۳۳

And hasten towards forgiveness from your Lord and Paradise which is as vast as the heavens and the earth; it has been prepared for the Righteous.[1]

May Allah grant you and me entry into Paradise and protect us from the painful punishment.[2]

Your remaining life is priceless

Dear Islamic brothers! We have been commanded to strive for Paradise and not delay in doing so. What has happened has happened. Now, looking forward, make an intention to spend the rest of your life in goodness. Repent sincerely for any past sins, vow to never commit them again, and spend time contemplating the Hereafter.

Sayyiduna ꜤAlī said:

بَقِیَّۃُ عُمْر ِالرَّجُلِ لَا ثَمَنَ لَہٗ

A man’s remaining life is priceless.[3]

اَلْـحَمْـدُ لـِلّٰـه We are still alive and breathing. Every breath we take is a
