Book Name:Mola Ali Aur Fikr e Akhirat
He would then say, “Woe to me! My provisions are few for this long and fearful journey.”[1]
اَللّٰہُ اَکْبَر Dear Islamic brothers! This is the esteemed individual whose sons are the leaders of the youth of Paradise. Looking at him is an act of worshipping Allah. The difficulties of the world and the Hereafter can be removed with his name. Millions will enter Paradise due to him. Love for him is a sign of faith. Quranic verses were revealed explaining his rank, and the Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم called him his brother.
In fact, the Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم gave him glad tidings of Paradise many times, and love for him is a means of entering Paradise itself. Despite his numerous excellences, he wept and trembled in the fear of Allah during the night, rejected the world, and contemplated about the Hereafter constantly.
Unfortunately, our condition is dire; goodness is nowhere to be found, and our record of deeds is filled with sins. Neither is our outer good nor our inner, yet we have no concern for the Hereafter. We are only worried about our status in the world and earning wealth. What are we eating today? What are we wearing? What does our future look like? We are successfully running one business, but can we manage another? We earn a good salary from one place, where can we find multiple sources of income?
We spend every day and night in heedlessness, worrying about these matters.
Dear Islamic brothers! If only we were granted concern for the Hereafter. You must learn that the world is disloyal.
