When I entered, the Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم was inside, and he said to ꜤĀisha, “Dear ꜤĀisha! He (i.e. Sayyiduna ꜤAlī) is the dearest man to me. O ꜤĀisha! You are to acknowledge his right and respect him for my sake.”^[1]

Who is dearest to the Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم?

Dear Islamic brothers! Here is another statement of Lady ꜤĀisha   regarding the rank of Sayyiduna ꜤAlī.

She said, “The Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم loved Fāṭima and her husband (i.e. ꜤAlī) the most.”^[2]

سُـبْحٰـنَ الـلّٰــه This is his amazingly high rank. Remember, the greatest and highest ranked Companion is the first Caliph of Islam, Abū Bakr al-Ṣiddīq, and the most beloved member of the Ahl al-Bayt to the Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم is Sayyiduna ꜤAlī.

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                                     صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

Sayyiduna ꜤAlī’s concern for the Hereafter

Dear Islamic brothers! Sayyiduna ꜤAlī held a high rank in knowledge and action.

The Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم declared:

اَنَا مَدِیْنَۃُ الْعِلْمِ وَ عَلِیٌّ بَابُہَا

I am the city of knowledge and ꜤAlī is its door.^[3]
