Remaining Sunnahs and manners of iꜤtikāf

*    The most virtuous place for iꜤtikāf is Masjid al-Ḥarām, followed by Masjid al-Nabawi, then Masjid al-Aqsā, and then any masjid where a large congregation is held.

*    If, due to iꜤtikāf, one cannot do other good deeds like visiting the cemetery, meeting Muslims, consoling the ill, and participating in funeral salahs, they will receive the same reward as those who performed these actions.^[2]

*    Islamic sisters should perform iꜤtikāf in masjid bayt. This refers to the place in a woman’s home that she designates for her salah.^[3]
