them. Regardless of this, you continued to sin. Did you not fear death? You possess intellect and understanding, but you remained heedless. Allah Almighty was favourable towards you, but you forgot. You made many promises to Allah Almighty but broke all of them.’”
Sayyidunā Manṣūr bin ꜤAmmār رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه then mentions, “He was crying whilst telling me this. I stood up and began to leave. By the time I reached the door, he passed away.”[1]
O devotees of the Prophet! This is the result of disobedience! Indeed, Allah Almighty is the most merciful. He accepts our repentance, but this does not mean that we audaciously commit sins and disobedience in the hope of repenting. To repent is a good deed, but not everyone can do it. Sometimes, sinning causes our hearts to become hard. The curse of Allah Almighty descends, and we are not granted the ability to repent. In this manner, a person dies in the state of disobedience without having repented from sins.
May Allah Almighty protect us from such humiliation and disgrace, and grant us the ability to repent wholeheartedly.

Disobedience is a cause of disgrace and humiliation
O devotees of the Prophet! Disobeying Allah Almighty and His Messenger صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم is a cause of disgrace and humiliation. The one who continuously disobeys Allah Almighty and fails to repent becomes disgraced in His court and has no standing before him. The one who is disgraced and has no standing in His court will not find honour and respect anywhere else. It is stated in the 18th verse of Surah al-Hajj:
