Nafarmani Ka Anjam

Book Name:Nafarmani Ka Anjam

How great were the nations before us! They were granted honour, power and wealth in this world, but they were disobedient. They would sin and dismiss the invitation towards righteousness. They became stubborn, remained firm upon sin and never repented. In the end, the wrath of Allah Almighty descended upon them, and their names and traces were wiped off the face of earth.

Punishments of the previous nations

The people of ꜤĀad were a powerful nation. Its people were tall and strong, and they would carve out mountains to build their palaces upon them. Allah Almighty granted them wealth, sustenance and blessings, but they were disobedient. They rejected Sayyidunā Hūd عَلَیْہِ السَّلَام, adopted disbelief and remained persistent upon sin. Eventually, Allah Almighty punished them with a severe hurricane.

This was a hurricane that was extremely cold, dry, terrifyingly loud and devoid of any goodness. Its intensity was such that it lifted them into the air like dry leaves in the wind, then it would throw them to the ground with such force that they scattered into many pieces. The hurricane lasted for eight continuous days, and it destroyed the name and traces of the nation of ꜤĀad.[1]

The nation of Thamūd was known for its mastery in construction. Allah Almighty granted them many blessings. He gave them power and wealth, but they were disobedient. They rejected Sayyidunā Sāliḥ عَلَیْہِ السَّلَام, disbelieved and remained persistent in sin. In the end, the wrath of Allah Almighty descended upon them, and they were punished with severe earthquakes, which put an end to them forever.

Namrūd was a fierce ruler. Allah Almighty granted him kingship, but he was disobedient. He was insolent towards Sayyidunā Ibrāhīm عَلَیْہِ السَّلَام.
