Nafarmani Ka Anjam

Book Name:Nafarmani Ka Anjam

So, we come to know that Allah Almighty has made this event a lesson for us. Therefore, we must pay heed to this and repent, perform good deeds and avoid disobeying Allah Almighty and His beloved Prophet  صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم . Disobeying Allah Almighty and His Messenger صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم only leads to humiliation and disgrace in this world and the hereafter. Imam al-Ḥasan al-Baṣrī رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه states, “O son of Adam! May you be destroyed! Do you think you can oppose Allah Almighty? The one who disobeys Allah Almighty is as though he has declared war against Him.”[1]

Disobedience is a cause of being cursed

Allah Almighty states in verse 78 of Sūrah al-Māˈidah:

لُعِنَ الَّذِیۡنَ کَفَرُوۡا مِنۡۢ بَنِیۡۤ  اِسۡرَآءِیۡلَ عَلٰی لِسَانِ دَاوٗدَ  وَ عِیۡسَی ابۡنِ مَرۡیَمَ ؕ ذٰلِکَ بِمَا عَصَوۡا وَّ کَانُوۡا یَعۡتَدُوۡنَ (۷۸)

Translation from Kanz al-Īmān: “Cursed are those who committed disbelief from amongst the Children of Israel, through the tongue of Dāwūd, and īsā: the son of Maryam; this (i.e. the curse) was the recompense of their disobedience and transgression of what they spoke ill of.”[2]

This verse informs us that Banī Isrāˈīl were disobedient, transgressors and disregarded the boundaries set by Allah Almighty. When this happened, Sayyidunā Dāwūd and Sayyidunā Ꜥīsā عَلَیْهمَاالسَّلَام cursed them, and they were consequently punished. So, we learn that disobeying Allah Almighty leads to being cursed.

The curse of Allah is upon the disobedient

Sayyidunā Wahb رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه reports:
