acting upon the Hadith too. You will be included amongst the beloved people of Allah Almighty, because He loves those who repent.

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                 صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

Dear Islamic brothers, bringing the speech to an end, I will now have the honour of mentioning the virtue of the Sunnah, as well as some etiquettes. The Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said:

مَنْ اَحَبَّ سُنَّتِی فَقَدْ اَحَبَّنِی وَمَنْ اَحَبَّنِی كَانَ مَعِیَ فِی الْجَنَّةِ

Translation: “Whoever loved my Sunnah, loved me, and whoever loved me will be with me in Paradise.”[1]

Sunnahs and etiquettes of visiting the cemetery

Shortly, we will listen to some Sunnahs and etiquettes of visiting the cemetery as mentioned on page 36 of the book ‘163 Madani Pearls’, written by the renowned spiritual guide and leader of Ahl al-Sunnah, Maulana Ilyās ꜤAṭṭār al-Qādirī دَامَـتْ بَـرَكَـاتُـهُـمُ الْـعَـالِـيَـهْ. First, let us listen to a narration of the Prophet  صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم : “I used to forbid you from visiting the graves, but now visit them, for they will draw your attention away from this world and remind you of the hereafter.”[2]

*   Before you visit the grave of a saint or any other Muslim, it is recommended to perform two units of salah in a time that is not makrūh. After reciting Sūrah al-Fātiḥah in each unit, recite āyah al-Kursī once and Sūrah al-Ikhlās three times. Then, convey the reward of the salah to the deceased. Allah Almighty will
