It includes: virtues of calling to righteousness, the harms of abandoning it and styles of delivery. Do read this book. اِنْ شَــآءَالـلّٰـه You will find it very helpful in developing into an excellent and effective preacher. May Allah Almighty grant us the ability to do righteous actions.

We also learn from this account about the extent of the asceticism of one of the Asharah Mubashsharah, the helper of the believers and fourth Caliph of the Muslims, Sayyidunā Alī b. Abū ālib, the Lion of Allah رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ, the father of Imams Ḥasan and Ḥusayn رَضِیَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا. When our pious predecessors and exemplars declared the love of the world to be disagreeable, we too should give no room for it in our hearts.

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                          صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

Brief introduction to Sayyidunā Alī رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ 

Dear Islamic brothers! Sayyidunā Alī رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ is the fourth Caliph of the Muslims and was born in al-Makkah al-Mukarramah. He embraced Islam at the age of ten years.[1] His father named him aydar, whereas his mother named him Alī. The beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم granted him the title اَسَدُ اللہ, which means the Lion of Allah.[2] He رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ is from the
