Madine Ki Barkatain

Book Name:Madine Ki Barkatain

continue to walk past him. One day, I was given the honour of entering Rawat al-Jannah [the area between the pulpit and sacred grave of the Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم]. After gaining blessings here, I then went to Jannat al-Baqi Cemetery.

At this point, a thought occurred to me: “سُـبْحٰـنَ الـلّٰــه Medina is such a sacred city that has two Paradises in it: Rawat al-Jannah and Jannat al-Baqi.”

Immersed in such thoughts, I made my way to where I was staying. On the way, I came across the majzūb. He called me by saying, اَخِی! تَعَال اِسْمَعْ کَلَامِی “My brother, come here! Listen to what I have to say.”

So, I went near him. Placing his hand on my shoulder, he declared, وَ اللہِ الْعَظِیْم اللہُ حَیٌّ وَرَسُوْلُہٗ حَیٌّ meaning, “I swear by Allah that Allah is living, and His Messenger is also living.” وَاللہِ الْعَظِیْم اللہُ یَنْظُرُ وَ رَسُوْلُہٗ یَنْظُرُ, “I swear by Allah that Allah is watching, and His Messenger also watches.”

After stating these oaths, the majzūb said, وَ اللہِ الْعَظِیْم! اَلْمَدِینَۃُ کُلُّہَا جَنَّۃُ الْفِرْدَوْس“I swear by Allah that all of Medina is Jannat al-Firdaws!”[1] (And hence, Medina does not have just two Paradises in it.)

Maulana Manzūr Aḥmad Shāh رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه revealed this astonishing story in the gathering with Shaykh Ziyā Uddīn al-Madanī رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه present. As a result, people desired to meet this majzūb. However, despite searching for him, nobody could find him.

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                                     صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

Dear Islamic brothers! Medina is Medina! What can we say about this
