Book Name:Madine Ki Barkatain
Paradise was made from a portion of the light of Allah’s Messenger He صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم himself is in that city. What can one then say about the very city in which Allah’s Messenger currently resides? This is the city of Medinah. Why then should devotees not say اَلْمَدِینَۃُ کُلُّہَا جَنَّۃُ الْفِرْدَوْس, “Medina in its entirety is Jannat al-Firdaws.”
Paradise is where the beloved resides
Dear Islamic brothers! Keep the following in mind. The ʿArsh, Kursī, the Preserved Tablet, the Pen, Paradise and all its bounties, were all made from the light of our beloved Prophet As for the excellences all these things have, they too are by virtue of the Prophet
To explain this matter further, let’s look at what Allah declares in the Quran:
I swear by this city [1]
In this verse, Allah takes an oath by the city of Mecca. Why did He do this? Why was Mecca given this honour? Is it because the Kaaba is there? Is it because of Safa and Marwa? Is it due to Mina, Muzdalifa, or Arafat? Or is it because that is where hajj is performed and where people perform ṭawāf? Mecca has many, many more unique qualities besides these. Are any of these why Allah took oath by this city? No, but rather, in the next verse, Allah Almighty states:
