Madine Ki Barkatain

Book Name:Madine Ki Barkatain

اَللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ بِالْمَدِينَةِ ضِعْفَيْ مَا جَعَلْتَ بِمَكَّةَ مِنَ البَرَكَةِ

“O Allah! Place twice the number of blessings in Medina than You did in Mecca.”[1]

Commenting on this hadith, scholars say that this refers to both inward and outward forms of blessings. The meaning of this duꜤāˈ made by the Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم thus means, “O Allah, in comparison to Mecca, grant double blessings for all the acts of worship carried out in Medina and the sustenance found in it.”

Mufti Aḥmad Yār Khān Naʿīmī رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه said:

The blessings in the sustenance of Medina can even be seen today. The city has an abundance of all kinds of fruit. Its atmosphere is beautiful and not found in Mecca. Nevertheless, love makes its own decision, which is that although the reward earned for acts of worship in Mecca is greater, the worship carried out in Medina draws one closer to Allah and is higher in rank.[2]

Where dreams come true

Dear Islamic brothers, another specialty of Medina is that this is the city in which dreams come true and wishes are fulfilled.

It is an absolute truth that being called to Medina is a sign of tremendous, good fortune. This means the time has come for wishes to be fulfilled, for difficulties to end, and for worries to be alleviated. You can ask about this from anybody who has visited the blessed city. This does not just happen once, but time and time again. A desire comes to mind, and that very thing comes to happen. In this sacred city, difficulty or problems are instantly taken away when one calls out يَا رَسُوۡلَ اللّٰه.
