In another hadith: "Whoever offers six units of salah after maghrib without saying any bad words in between; these six units shall be equivalent to twelve years of worship for him."[1]
In another hadith: "Whoever performs wudu and performs it well and then offers two units with complete devotion (both outwardly and inwardly); Paradise becomes obligatory for him."[2]
4) One Who Worships His Lord in the Best Manner
O those who love Allah’s Messenger! Among the seven qualities of the Prophet’s beloved friend, the fourth quality is:
اَحْسَنَ عِبَادَةَ رَبِّهِ– he who worships his Lord in the best manner.
This means that when a person engages in worship, they should:
* Observe all the farḍ, wājib, Sunna, and mustaḥabb acts
* Offer their worship in the most beautiful way
* Pray with full humility and devotion
* Perform every act of worship with sincerity
* Have the sole intention of pleasing Allah
Whoever worships Allah in this manner is indeed fortunate and counted among the beloved friends of the Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم.
This is indeed a beautiful quality. However, in today’s age, the state of worship is quite concerning.
* Firstly, there is very little inclination towards worship.
* Even when people do engage in worship, they often fail to observe its due rights.
* There is a lack of calmness and devotion—as soon as one begins
