Book Name:Pyary Aaqa Ka Pyara Dost
The first quality mentioned is: لَمُؤْمِنٌ - meaning the person must be a believer.
By the grace of Allah and with all thanks to Him, we are Muslims. It is a great favour of His that He granted us faith. May He bless us with steadfastness in this, and may we remain Muslims until our last breath. May our faith never leave us, not even for a fraction of a second!
One important clarification:[1] The essence of faith is in the heart’s conviction. اَلْـحَمْـدُ لـِلّٰـه This means that faith is a matter of the heart, and the intellect has no role in these matters.
In simple terms, we are believers, and may Allah keep us steadfast in our faith. All the fundamental beliefs of faith—such as:
* Faith in Allah
* Faith in the Messenger of Allah صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم
* Faith in the prophets
* Faith in the divine books
These foundational beliefs of faith should be accepted with deep love and devotion. Do not base your faith on logic alone, otherwise, there is a great risk of going astray!
If one bases their faith on intellect, then intellect can be misled and can falter. Therefore, base your faith on love—on boundless love for Allah and His Messenger صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم. اِنْ شَــآءَالـلّٰـه The risk of losing one’s faith will be greatly reduced if you do this.
