Pyary Aaqa Ka Pyara Dost

Book Name:Pyary Aaqa Ka Pyara Dost

Beloved Friend of the Beloved Prophet

As mentioned in Jāmʿi al-Tirmidhī, Abū Umāma Bāhilī رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ narrates that the final Prophet of Allah صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said:

اِنَّ اَغْبَطَ اَوْلِیَائِی عِنْدِی

Indeed, the friend of mine most worthy of admiration is he who has these qualities:

لَمُؤْمِنٌ – A true believer

خَفِيفُ الْحَاذِ – he who has little worldly possessions

ذُو حَظٍّ مِنَ الصَّلَاةِ  – he who offers salah abundantly

اَحْسَنَ عِبَادَةَ رَبِّهِ – he who worships his Lord in the best manner

وَاَطَاعَهُ فِي السِّرِّ – he who obeys Allah in private

وَكَانَ غَامِضًا فِي النَّاسِ لَا يُشَارُ اِلَيْهِ بِالْاَصَابِعِ – he who remains hidden among people, and is not pointed at with fingers (not famous)

وَكَانَ رِزْقُهُ كَفَافًا فَصَبَرَ عَلَى ذَلِكَ – he whose sustenance is just enough, and who remains patient with it.[1]

There Are No Words to Describe This Honour

Dear Islamic brothers! This blessed hadith mentions seven qualities, and an amazing fact is, whoever possesses these qualities becomes the friend of our Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم. Not only are they a friend, but they are the worthiest of admiration of all friends!
