even for a small amount of sustenance, then Allah will be pleased with your small amount of deeds."[1]

Glad Tidings for Those Who Accept Allah’s Decree

The Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said:

طُوۡبٰی لِمَنۡ ھُدِیَ لِلۡاِسۡلَامِ وَكَانَ عَيْشُهُ كَفَافًا، وَقَنَعَ

Glad tidings for the he who was guided to Islam, whose sustenance is just enough for their needs, and who is content with this.[2]

The Rank of Those Content with Little Sustenance

A hadith explains:

On the Day of Judgment, Allah shall grant wings to a group from my Umma. With these wings, they will fly from their graves directly into Paradise and enjoy its pleasures as they wish. Seeing this, the angels will ask: "Have you gone through accountability? Have you crossed the Ṣirāṭ? Have you seen Hell?" The blessed souls will reply: "No, we have not seen any of these."

The angels will further ask: "Then, which Umma are you from?"

They will reply, "We are from the Umma of Muhammad  صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم."

The angels will say: "We take an oath by Allah! Tell us what deeds you performed.”

They will respond: “We had two habits due to which we achieved this rank through the grace of Allah. We used to fear Allah and avoid sins even when we were alone, and we were content with
