The Humility and Devotion of Righteous People in Salah
Dear Islamic brothers! اَلْـحَمْـدُ لـِلّٰـه! The pious servants of Allah gave immense importance to worship. They performed it with deep devotion, full concentration, and great passion.
Imam Dāwūd Ṭāˈī رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه used to pray with such deep humility that even when the Sun would rise and shine directly over his head, he would not feel its heat.[1]
Muslim b. Yasār رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ was once performing salah with intense focus when a fire suddenly broke out near him. He was so absorbed in his prayer that he did not even realise there was a fire until people came and put it out.[2]
When ꜤAbdullāh b. Zubayr رَضِیَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا would go into sajda, he would remain in that position for so long that birds would sit on his blessed
