Book Name:Safar e Meraj Aur Pyari Namaz

Prayer was a constant act throughout the Night of MiꜤrāj. The final Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم offered prayer during the journey and came back from it with the gift of prayer for his nation. In other words, he went on the MiꜤrāj, which was a journey of ascension, and brought back to his nation something which will take them on their own ascension and lead them to new heights.

It is stated in the book Mirqāt al-Mafātīḥ:  اَلصَّلَاۃ ُمِعْرَاجُ الْمُؤْمِن “Prayer is the MiꜤrāj of the believers.”[1]

سُبْحٰنَ اللہ What an amazing gift this is indeed. We were given prayer, which is a MiꜤrāj for us, and this is for every Muslim until the Day of Judgement. Not once in their lives, not once a year, not once a month, but five times every day, a Muslim performs ablution, goes to the masjid, and prays in a focused and humble manner. He presents himself before Allah Almighty, lowers his head in prostration, and even attains the honour of speaking to Allah Almighty. سُبْحٰنَ اللہ This is the MiꜤrāj of a Muslim.

O those who love Allah’s Messenger! We must fill forms and go through so much protocol before we meet a person in this world with any worldly power or authority. Look at the huge blessings we have been given. When we present ourselves before the Creator of the world, there is absolutely nothing stopping us from this. We get up, perform ablution, and stand in the court of Allah Almighty for prayer whenever we want.
