Punishments when dying

1.   He will die in a disgraced way.

2.   He will die hungry.

3.   He will die thirsty – even the entire ocean would not quench his thirst.

Punishments in the grave

1.   His grave is constricted until his ribs intertwine.

2.   A fire will be lit in his grave. Day and night, he will keep twisting and turning on hot coals.

3.   A giant snake named اَلشُّجَاعُ الْاَقْرَع (the Bald Snake) will be imposed upon him in his grave – its eyes will be made from fire and its scales from iron. One scale is equal to the distance covered in a day’s travel.

It will say, “I am اَلشُّجَاعُ الْاَقْرَع”, whilst its voice crackles like lightning. It will also say, “My Lord has commanded me to strike you until sunrise for missing Fajr prayer, until ꜤAṣr for missing Ẓuhr prayer, until Maghrib for missing ꜤAṣr, until ꜤIshāˈ for missing Maghrib, and until Fajr for missing ꜤIshāˈ.”

 

When a person is struck by this snake, he will sink seventy feet into the earth, and suffer this punishment non-stop until the Day of Judgement.

The three punishments on the Day of Judgement for missing prayer

1.   Severe accountability.

2.   The wrath and displeasure of Allah Almighty.
