Book Name:Safar e Meraj Aur Pyari Namaz

What we learn from this Hadith

Firstly, let’s think about this amazing fact. Prophet Mūsā عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلاَم passed away many, many centuries before the night of MiꜤrāj. On that blessed night, he helped the nation of Prophet Muhammad صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم. From this, we learn the pious servants of Allah Almighty can help even after they pass away.

Secondly, Allah Almighty already knew there would ultimately be five daily prayers. So why did He initially ordain fifty of them? There is limitless wisdom in this. Allah Almighty initially declared these to be fifty prayers, and then after the intermediation of the beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم and Prophet Mūsā عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلاَم, they were established as five. This teaches us how the intermediation of Allah’s pious people is a huge bounty, and by virtue of it, we can find ease.

Thirdly, think about the fact Prophet Mūsā عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلاَم is Kalīmullah, which means he speaks with Allah Almighty directly. He loves to do this. When he wanted to help Prophet Muhammad’s nation, he could have directly asked Allah to lower the number of prayers from fifty to five. Yet, he did not do this, and had the number lowered through Prophet Muhammad صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم himself. This shows the unimaginably high rank of Allah’s Messenger صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم, in that even Kalīmullah عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلاَم intermediates through him when wanting to speak with Allah Almighty.

Fourthly, the Messenger of Allah صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم presented himself in the court of Allah Almighty ten times on the Night of MiꜤrāj. Besides the first time, the remaining nine occurred upon the request of Prophet Mūsā عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلاَم.

Dear Islamic brothers! Prophet Mūsā عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلاَم requested Allah’s Messenger صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم to go back and have the number of prayers
