Book Name:Safar e Meraj Aur Pyari Namaz

reduced multiple times. Islamic scholars note a beautiful reason for this. They say:

When on Mount Sinai, Prophet Mūsā عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلاَم longed to see Allah Almighty. This desire was not fulfilled then. On the Night of MiꜤrāj, the honour of seeing Allah Almighty was granted to the Messenger of Allah صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم. As a result, Prophet Mūsā wanted the final Messenger to see Allah Almighty again and again, so he could see the one who saw Allah Almighty, repeatedly.

Prophet Mūsā عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلاَم wanted to see the eyes which beheld Allah Almighty, and in this way, his desire left unfulfilled on Mount Sinai could now be achieved.[1]

Prayer – the Mirāj of the believer

O those who love Allah’s Messenger! Prayer is an amazing and important form of worship. So important in fact, that when the Beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم was going to see Allah Almighty on the Night of MiꜤrāj, he offered prayer at six different places. In Masjid al-Aqṣā, he not only offered prayer, but the prophets, messengers, and angels prayed behind him.

At every heavenly station, he offered two units of prayer and led angels in Prayer. When going to see Allah Almighty, he performed the greatest pillar of prayer, which is prostration. After meeting Allah Almighty, he returned to his nation with a gift, which was none other than prayer itself.
