Book Name:Safar e Meraj Aur Pyari Namaz

The excellences of sending alāt upon the beloved Prophet

The final Prophet of Allah

Translation: Allah sends ten mercies upon whoever sends ṣalāt upon me once. An angel is appointed to convey that ṣalāt to me.

Dear Islamic brothers! Before listening to the speech, let’s first of all make good intentions for attaining the divine pleasure and earning rewards. The beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم has said, ‘نِيَّةُ الۡمُؤۡمِنِ خَيۡرٌ مِّنۡ عَمَلِه’ “The intention of a Muslim is better than his deed.” (Al-MuꜤjam al-Kabīr, vol. 6, p. 185, Hadith 5942)

An important point

For righteous and permissible work, the more good intentions we make, the more reward we attain.

Intentions for listening to the speech

1.   Lowering my eyes, I will listen to the speech attentively.

2.   Instead of resting against a wall, etc., I will sit in the al-Taḥiyyāt position as long as possible with the intention of showing respect for religious knowledge.
