Book Name:Safar e Meraj Aur Pyari Namaz

Commenting on this, Muftī Aḥmad Yār Khān Naʿīmī said:

The beloved of Allah صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم was called to the skies and lā makān, and shown signs all other prophets had heard of. He saw the Divine Being of Allah, the ꜤArsh, the Kursī, the Lawḥ, the Qalam, Paradise, and Hellfire etc. (Other prophets and messengers heard of these signs through divine revelation. This means Prophet Muhammad صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم was shown everything the other prophets only heard about.) The testimony of other prophets was based on them hearing via divine revelation. Yet, the testimony of Prophet Muhammad صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم was not based on hearing, but on seeing with his own two eyes.

Allah Almighty declares,

[1]  اِنَّاۤ  اَرْسَلْنٰکَ شَاہِدًا وَّ مُبَشِّرًا وَّ  نَذِیْرًا

We have indeed sent you (as a) Present Eyewitness and a Conveyor of glad tidings and warning.

سُبْحٰنَ اللہ We thus learn that all other prophets are mukhbir (which means they inform others of what they heard from revelation). Yet, our Prophet Muhammad صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم is he who bears witness after seeing with his eyes. After the testimony of an eye witness, there is no need for any further testimony of any kind. For this reason, no new prophet can come.

Allah announces:

اَلْیَوْمَ اَکْمَلْتُ لَکُمْ دِیْنَکُمْ[2]

This day, I have perfected your religion for you
