یَوۡمَ الۡجَمۡعِ لَا رَیۡبَ فِیۡہِ ؕ

the Day of Gathering in which there is no doubt.[1]

The day of gathering, of which there is no doubt that it will come. Which day is this? It is the Day of Judgement. The day when the first and last will be gathered, and all of those in the heavens and earth will stand in the court of Allah Almighty.

O devotees of the Prophet! We come to know that one important and fundamental reason for revealing the noble Quran was to create fear in the hearts of people in relation to the Day of Judgement.

Some blessings of reciting the holy Quran

O devotees of the Prophet! We can learn something very important here. First, we should ponder whether we even recite the noble Quran. The holy Quran was sent down on the Night of Power, and Allah Almighty revealed it for our guidance. It is the pure message of our Lord for us. If we do not recite the noble Quran, then this is a major weakness on our part. We should recite as much Quran as possible on a daily basis. Whether it is one rukūꜤ, two rukūꜤ, one juz, or two juz; we should recite however much we can. There are many virtues of reciting the noble Quran:

*    Reciting the noble Quran is from the most superior forms of worship.

*    One gains closeness to Allah Almighty through it.

*    It enlightens the heart.

*    It refines one’s character.
