Nazool e Quran Ka Aik Maqsid

Book Name:Nazool e Quran Ka Aik Maqsid

And why was this glorious Quran revealed? For the Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم to warn the Meccan people and those living in surrounding areas.

What was he to warn them of?

یَوْمَ الْجَمْعِ لَا رَیْبَ فِیْہِ ؕ

Day of Gathering in which there is no doubt,[1]

The Day of Gathering, the Day about which there is no doubt; this refers to the Day of Judgement. This is the Day when all the former and later generations will be assembled, when everybody in the heavens and earth will be presented before Allah.

O those who love Allah’s Messenger! So, we come to know that from the great purposes behind why the Quran was revealed, one important and fundamental objective is to instil fear of the Hereafter in the hearts of mankind.

Reciting the Quran

There is an important lesson for us here. First and foremost, we must reflect on whether we regularly recite the Quran or not.

It was revealed on Laylat al-Qadr and sent to guide us. This is a sacred message from our Lord, addressed directly to us. It is a glaring shortcoming on our part if we do not read it.

We should strive to recite the Quran daily, as much as we can and no matter how much. We have to make this a must upon ourselves, as reciting the Quran holds immense virtues:

*    Reciting the Quran is the most superior form of worship.
