world with it intact. We should all pray to Allah Almighty and ask Him to bless us with this. In these times of tribulation, where laziness in performing good deeds is rife, very few are seen worried about their faith. New forms of evil arise daily, all of which can rob a Muslim of his belief.

It is extremely important for us to safeguard our belief. If we spend our entire lives doing good deeds, but Allah Almighty forbid, we somehow pass away without faith, we will then be punished in Hellfire forever. The Messenger of Allah صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said, اِنَّمَا الْاَعْمَالُ بِالْخَوَاتِیْم  – “Deeds are dependent upon endings.”^[1]

Consider the following: it is extremely worrisome for a person to protect his worldly wealth, as even the slightest negligence can lead to somebody losing it. As much as a person worries and works for worldly wealth, they must do this even more when it comes to their faith. Imam Aḥmad Razā Khan رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه once said regarding this, “Scholars say whoever does not fear regarding losing their faith, there is severe danger of them losing their faith as they die.”^[2]

We should all ensure to recite this Sunnah supplication:

یَا مُقَلِّبَ الْقُلُوْبِ ثَبِّتْ قَلْبِیْ عَلیٰ دِیْنِکَ

O Turner of hearts! Keep my heart steadfast upon Your religion!^[3]
