Ala Hazrat Aur Aqidah Khatm e Nubuwwat

Book Name:Ala Hazrat Aur Aqidah Khatm e Nubuwwat

Muslim or shows doubt in this; such a person also becomes non-Muslim and an apostate.[1]

Remember: Prophet ꜤĪsā عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلاَم is alive and currently in the fourth sky. He عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلَام has not yet passed away. Near the Day of Judgement, he will come back to the Earth and preach according to the Divine law granted to the Beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم. Him returning to this world does not affect the finality of our master Muhammad’s صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم prophethood at all.

This is because the meaning of خَاتَمُ النَّبِیّٖن is: “After the appearance of the Prophet Muhammad صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم, prophethood will not be given to anybody else.” Sayyidunā ꜤĪsā عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلَام received prophethood before the final Prophet’s arrival. He will still be a Prophet when returning to earth, yet he shall not propagate the divine code of law that was originally ordained for him as a Prophet. Instead, he will follow the divine code of law of our master Muhammad صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم. In other words, he will return to become a member of the final Prophet’s nation.[2]

Ala Hazrat رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه and the exegesis of the verse of finality of Prophethood

Allah Almighty announces in the 40th verse of Surah Al-Aḥzāb:

مَا کَانَ مُحَمَّدٌ اَبَاۤ  اَحَدٍ مِّنۡ رِّجَالِکُمۡ وَ لٰکِنۡ رَّسُوۡلَ اللّٰہِ وَ خَاتَمَ  النَّبِیّٖنَ ؕ وَ  کَانَ اللّٰہُ  بِکُلِّ شَیۡءٍ عَلِیۡمًا (۴۰)

Muhammad is not the father of any of your men. However, he is the Messenger of Allah and the last of the Prophets—And Allah knows everything.[3]
