Supplication to recite when sitting upon a mode of transport

According to the schedule of Dawat-e-Islami’s weekly gatherings, we will now memorise a supplication. This week, we will learn the supplication to recite when sitting upon a mode of transport.

“All praise is due to Allah. Pure is He who subjugated this for us; We were unable to control it, and indeed, we shall return to Our Lord.” [2]-[3]

Method of collective accountability (72 pious deeds)

The Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم has said, “Pondering [over the Hereafter] for a moment is better than 60 years of worship.”[4]

Let’s make good intentions before filling in the Pious Deeds booklet:

1.   To please Allah, I will hold myself to account through the Pious Deeds booklet and encourage others to do the same.

2.   I will praise (i.e. thank) Allah Almighty for the pious deeds which I practised.

3.   I will regret not acting upon the pious deeds I missed out on and will try to act on them in the future.
